Rules of Online Blackjack
The rules of online black jack are the same as regular blackjack. Simply put the players aim is to achieve a higher hand than the dealer, without going over 21. The game starts with the player placing their bet. Once this is done the player will be dealt two cards, both face up. The dealer will also be dealt two cards, one face up and one face down. The number cards have the same face value as represented on them, for example a five is worth 5 points, an eight is worth 8 points etc. The face cards I.e. Jack, Queen and King are worth ten each, and an Ace is worth either one or eleven, depending on what suits the player best for their hand.
Once the player has been dealt their hand, they can choose to Stay if they have a high number close to 21, for example a nine and a Jack equalling 19, or they can choose to Hit. If they choose to Hit they get dealt another card. A player can continue to hit until they reach a high hand but should they go over 21 they Bust, and the dealer wins. Once the player has decided to Stay, the dealer then reveals his hand, and should it be low has to Hit until he reaches 17 or higher. Should he Bust or go over 21, the player wins. Should he reach 17 or higher but still have a lower hand than the player, the player still wins.
